The New Tombstone Is Digital

Digital TombstoneIn the 5 years that I have been networking on Facebook, I have had 5 friends die (TheresaLincoln, Ron, Scott, and Ada).  All of those friends were on Facebook, and their pages have become digital tombstones (especially for those who have public profiles).  With there being 1 billion people social networking on Facebook, there is the potential for 1 billion dead people’s profiles to be circulating on the internet.  Have any of my readers stopped to think what they would like to leave behind for the world wide web to read?  People should give it some thought.  I mean, all 5 of my friends died suddenly and unexpectedly.  Will you be content with what you’re sharing, on social networks, when it is your time to die?
