Seattle had Chief Sealth on their Side

The earth does not belong to us. We belong to the earth.” – Chief Sealth

At the beginning of the season, I told all of my Baltimore friends that the Seahawks were going to win the Super Bowl.  Most of them laughed at me.  However, I had no clue that both of this year’s teams would come from states where marijuana is legal.  It gave a whole new meaning to the word, “Super Bowl.”  Anyhow, one would have to be living under a rock to not know that the Seahawks won.  But, I don’t like all the jabs that I see Facebookers making at Manning.  He is an awesome quarterback who had a craptastic night.  In all seriousness, it was inevitable that Seattle won;  because the city had Chief Sealth on their side.  And Seattle really needed this win for their sports psyche.  The city has laid low ever since the Supersonics moved to Oklahoma City.  By the way, I never understood how the Emerald City lost their basketball team.  I lived in Seattle.  They were a hoop city.  Anyhow, congrads to the Seahawks, and all of my loved ones in the Pacific Northwest.
